My Review of Suave Professionals Shampoo (Humectant Moisture)

Today I decided to use my free bottle of Suave Professionals Shampoo with Humectant Moisture.   I received a coupon from Suave for a free bottle of shampoo about a month ago.  When I went to purchase it, I was surprised to see this 32 ounce bottle of shampoo.  When I brought it home my 16 year old daughter wanted to use it.  Initially my six year old son was begging me to let him try it.  He doesn't want to use baby shampoo any more, he says. 

Needless to say, I tried it today and was so pleased.  I could not believe how much the shampoo lathered up so nicely.  My hair was squeaky clean after one wash.  Of course I washed it more than once, but it was squeaking after the first time.  Let's not forget how good the soap smells.  It has a long lasting feminine sent.  I keep smelling my hair.  The bottle says it is salon quality, I must say I agree.  I really like the way my hair looks and feels.  It is supposed to have up to 2 times more moisturizing, and I actually believe it does.  My hair is a dirty brown that seems to not hold very much moisture, but after using this humectant moisture shampoo, I must say it looks a little moist.  I am pleased, considering with the sweltering heat we are feeling during these August months.  This shampoo is much needed.  This is something I suggest you should go out and purchase.  Go out and get the New Suave Professions Shampoo with Humectant Moisture.

My Jif To Go Review

I received a a coupon for 8 individual cups of Jif To Go, Creamy Peanut Butter.  On the package it states Right Sized Cup, they are definitely the perfect size.  This is something we have needed in our household for a long while.  Years ago I would buy the celery and peanut butter for my daughter's lunch or just to have on the go at Trader Joes until they discontinued the product.  Then I started putting the peanut butter in small containers, which is a little messy.  I never thought that maybe a company should create to go packs until I received the coupon in the mail.  I could not wait to go to the store to redeem my coupon.  It took me a while to find them, because I think they were just coming to stores when I received my coupon, but needless to say after going to Target twice I found them there.  The packaging is nice.  I know everyone is trying to go "Green", but it is made out of a little disposable container and the paper topping with the Jif logo.  As for the portion size, I think it is perfect.   This something that is easy to grab and go or even just put in a lunch bag. I love this product.

My daughter who is 16 takes them with her to school.  She says it taste good and perfect for snacking.  The last time I gave her one, she had it with pretzels.  My six year old has not had any yet, but thinks it looks cool.  I have not tried them yet, but Jif is a brand I trust and grew up on, so I know the taste is the same, they have just come up with a smart way for us to continue to buy one of the best brands of peanut butter out there.

My Review of the Spinach Sweet Crisp Salad and Whoopee Pie @ Corner Bakery

Recently my daughter Ari and I went to the Corner Bakery to try the Spinach Sweet Crisp Salad @ the Corner Bakery Calabasas. We were two of the many people that did an rsvp for the free salad. It was soooo good. It included: Baby spinach tossed with freshly sliced strawberries, oranges, red grapes, dried cranberries, green onions, creamy goat cheese and raisin pecan sweet crisps, drizzled with our homemade pomegranate vinaigrette. I must say the portion size was nice. It was not what I expected. Corner Bakery did not hold back on the portion size. It was just right and pretty filling. However; while standing in line try to figure out what else we should order a gentleman that we met as we were walking in noticed that we ordered the salad and was confirming how good it would be and that he was happy we were able to rsvp for the salad. He then looked at the cashier and told her he wanted us to try the Whoopee Pie and to put it on his account. I did not know he worked there, I thought to myself. He started telling us how good the pies would be. On the menu it says these pies are incredible treats are made with creamy vanilla buttercream filling sandwiched between two rich chocolate cakes. They also had one with peanut butter filling, but we did not try that one. I was so surprised he gave us the pies. It pays to be nice to people you never know who you may meet. When we tried the whoopee pie, we both agreed it was amazing!!!! I am not a sweet eater, but Corner Bakery gets me everytime. It was so moist and tasty. This is something everyone should try. I called back to the store thank the gentleman. When we met him his was in regular attire so I did not who he was, but when I called back I spoke with the manager she informed me that he is the area manager and just happened to be in for during the time we were there. Again, please go try the Spinach Sweet Crisp Salad and while you are there get some dessert, maybe the Whoopee Pie. Enjoy!                       

My Review of Country Crock

Recently I received a full size sample of Country Crock Spread, from smile.ly. My family and I were excited. We like using Country Crock, so this was perfect for us. We like it because it is 70% less saturated fat and 30% fewer calories than butter. It is also an excellent source of Omega-3 ALA, a good source of vitamin D and has not hydrogenated oils.

My daughter is taking cooking class so she has been preparing her dishes with it and absolutely loves it. I like that she is finding her way around the kitchen, but she is also discovering that Country Crock works for the recipes she is preparing. This is something that can be passed along from generation to generation.

I also received $0.75 coupons and have handed them out to my friends and family. The responses I have received have been good. Some people only use it on their veggies and others use it for everything. Hurry out and buy your Country Crock today!

My Review of Purex Complete with Zout

Recently I received a sample of Purex Complete with Zout. It is a deteregent and pre-treater, all in one. When it arrived my family and I were excited. My children love clean clothes. My 5 year old son is always making sure I have washed his clothes and my 16 year old daughter is always washing. We could not wait to see if this stuff really worked.

Purex Complete with Zout contains three powerful stain-fighting enzymes, that target different types of stains. They work against protein based stains as blood and grass, starchy stains like chocolate and tomato sauce, and lastly, work against guar which is used a thickener in many foods, such as ice cream, barbecue sauce and salad dressing. Well, my 5 year old clothes would be the best to test this out. With his clothes I have just loaded them in the washer using the Purex and when they are done I dry them and upon inspection I have not seen any stains. Now, if I have tough a stain I have applied some of the purex directly on the stain and rubbed it in until the stain fades away, let it sit for 5 minutes and then through it in with the rest of the clothes to wash.

I suggest that you go out and purchase some. My family and I like using this product

My Review of Tom's Maine Wicked Fresh

I am a BzzAgent and was very happy to receive an early invitation to participate in the Tom's of Maine Wicked Fresh Campaign. I had started using the toothpaste this past spring so that is why I was happy to bzz about this particular toothpaste. I had seen it on the shelf at Trader Joe's and I never bought it. Then finally I went to a green, spa event and in our goody bag was a full sized box of Tom's Maine. Their slogan is that it provides long-lasting fresh breath naturally. I have heard several natural items say they do things naturally and they not work. Hey, I want to feel some of the freshness I felt with some of the products that I have used with all of the bad stuff in it. Well, needless to say I tried the toothpaste and I loved it. I have been using it ever since. I guess I have been kind of bzzing about it, prior to receiving this campaign. For example, I know my father is really into his teeth, it seems like he is always at the dentist. I filled a gift bag of Tom's Main for him. He loved it. He said his breath seemed so fresh. Who would have thoughts months later I would be telling so many people about it. I have given out a couple of samples. I think this product is really good and it is making my transition to using natural products an easy one.

My Review of Numero Uno Agoura Hills, CA

On August 6, 2011, my kids and I went to the Numero Uno in Agoura Hills to redeem our coupons for a personal sized cheese pizza or a salad. We all ordered the pizza. We then decided to order the spicy buffalo wings. Well my 16 year old insisted that we order them. Please note the service is good at the location. The young cashier that was in there this evening was very nice. He warned us that the wings my be a little spicy and may make our noses run. When he brought the wings out. It looked like there were only a couple on the plate. But when he placed it down on the table, there were at lease 12, but they were mostly bone. I thought to myself, "Numero Uno should be ashamed, there's very little meat on these tiny bones!" I did not want to complain to the young man. There was not anyone working there that looked a full fledged adult, and he was so nice. When he brought the pizza's out, they were what I expected. They looked good and tasted good as I knew they would. However; I felt short changed with my wings. I know I got the pizza for free, but I did purchase the wings hoping to have more than bones. Numero Uno Agoura Hills, you need to find a new vendor for your wings.
