Last Saturday, I went to the screening for Here Comes The Boom. I truly underestimated this film. Kevin James said it best during is introduction, " This film shows what you can accomplish if you never give up."
He was absolutely right. Here Comes The Boom, is for anyone that wants or needs to accomplish something, or just has a dream. There is so much symbolism in this film, ranging from Bible references, not giving up on love, saving the music department, helping others get their citizenship and going in to the WWE and not settling. Kevin James displays true determination with the help from other cast members such as Henry Winkler, Selma Hyek and a many others.
Here Comes The Boom was uplifting, funny, inspiring, heroic and is something people need to see in today's time especially with so much going on in the world. This is a feel good movie for both young and old. There were cheers, laughter and clapping from the audience during the movie. This movie was very motivating. If you need a pick me up, make plans to see a great movie this weekend!
Here Comes The Boom will be in theaters Friday, October 12th.
