My Review of Kroger's The Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookie

I am a Bzzagent and recently received two boxes of Kroger's The Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookies.  I am someone that does not buy store brand products and I also love to bake, so this was truly a test for me.

When the boxes arrived my six year old son was so excited.  He is just now beginning to eat cookies.  He has not been a big fan of cookies at least not until I started baking more frequently.  He wanted to open the box immediately so he could try them.  I told him we would share one, because I wanted to make sure we both liked it and not be wasteful.  Immediately after taking our first bite we both wanted our own.  I had to call my 17 year old daughter and tell her, to try these cookies when she got home. Let's just she was hooked as well.

The Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookies are buttery with lots of chocolate chips.  I usually like my cookies soft, but that is only if they are freshly baked.  But, if I am having a store bought cookie I am okay with a crunchy cookie.  This cookie is definitely crunchy and with the butter and the chips it is so good.  I wanted to eat more than just one.  There are no added preservatives and artificial flavors like other brands, resulting in an over-the-top, melt in your mouth chocolate, crunch delight.

My Kroger store in my area is Ralphs.  I will definitely purchase these cookies in the near future.  I never knew store brand could taste so good.  As I understand it, Kroger has many other food options in the The Truly Awesome Line.

If you are a looking for a good cookie and at a reasonable price try The Truly Awesome Homestyle Chocolate Chip cookie.  The suggested retail value is $2.79, you cannot beat that in today's economy.
