NUCLEAR COWBOYZ, the free-style motocross show returns

Tickets for Nuclear Cowboyz^®, the only high octane-fueled freestyle motocross touring production in North America, is coming to the Citizens Business Bank Arena, Ontario on Friday, April 5, Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7^th, 2013. 

Nuclear Cowboyz 2013 has the greatest cast of freestyle motocross, trials and quad riders ever assembled, including recent X Games 2012 medalists Ronnie Faisst, Mike Mason, Taka Higashino and Winter X Games gold and silver medalist Colten Moore. The tour also includes former gold medalists Adam Jones and Matt Buyten as well as award-winning freestylers Derek Garland, Brody Wilson, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Wes Agee, Nick Dunne, Geoff Aaron, Keith Wineland and Marco Picado in this action-packed freestyle performance of pure danger and raw combat.

 This year will be our first year attending a motocross event, but my entire family is looking forward to this event. 

My son and his friend loved Hotel Transylvania

My son and I attended the red carpet screening of Hotel Transylvania.  Of course we were there to see the movie, but who does not like seeing the celebrities on the red carpet. 

Attending this screening was highly anticipated in my household.  My son is at an age were, is not afraid of everything any more and with Halloween approaching, it is important that we see something scarey. Scarey for a child's standards.  While waiting on the red carpet I was able to interview some of the celebrities. 

Selena Gomez, who is the voice of Mavis, walked the red carpet looking very elegant.  While waiting for my turn to interview Gomez.  I was in awe by the two little girls that were waiting with the rest of the press to interview her as well.   While watching them I thought of my son, who was only concerned about seeing the movie and the live characters of the film. 

I had the opportunity to interview Becky G. who performs the Problem (The Monster Remix) with Will.I.Am.  I am so glad I was able to interview her, because I do believe after many people watch this film she will be a household name.  Prior to seeing the movie my son asked me to watch the movie over and over, by the time the credits were rolling and the song was playing he was singing along and even on the way home. 

After waiting by the red carpet for interviews, we could not wait to see the film.  The audience was so excited!  We were fortunate enough to be in the theater with Adam Sandler. He is the voice of Dracula.  When he entered the theater, he welcomed the theater with a loud "Hello Everybody!"  That just added fuel to the excitement.

Hotel Transylvania, is Dracula's lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters, without humans bothering them. On a special weekend, Dracula has invited some of the world's most famous monsters - Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves, and more - to celebrate his daughter Mavis' 118th birthday. For Dracula catering to all of the monsters is not a  problem, but his world could come fall apart when a human, named Jonathan, stumbles on the hotel for the first time and develops an interest in Mavis.

Hotel Transylvania, is such a cute story for the entire family.  This was truly a fun film.  There was lots of laughter and the delivery of the message was very clear. Hotel Transylvania captured my sons interest throughout the entire film.  As we left the theater my son and his friend, were singing The Monster Remix and ready to mingle with the characters of the film.  This was a fun an exciting day.

Hotel Transylvania will be in theaters Sepetember 28, 2012.  This is a film you do not want to miss.  Happy Halloween.

My MBS- My Body Shots Review

My daughter and I are training for the Los Angeles Marathon and need as much energy as possible. It is important that we stay hydrated while training and staying healthy.  We received samples of MBS-My Body Shots to try and review.

When we received the box of Electro Sport and Electro Vitamin we noticed they were the perfect 2 ounce size With juggling busy schedules and training MBS is easy to throw in a bag while on the go.  We tried the Electro Vitamin first, it is packed with essential vitamins, minerals and hydrating electrolytes.  I decided to try mine on a morning that I was exhausted.  Instead of drinking my morning glass of water first, I drank Electro Vitamin first.  I was pleasantly surprised by the taste.  I could taste a hint of vitamins and minerals, but they were not overpowering.  When I place my order of MBS this will be on my list.

We have tried Electro Sport and really like it.  It is a low-calorie and low -sugar alternative to sports drinks.  Again, this is packed with electrolytes, Vitamin C, Calcium and Maganesium.  I absolutely do not like to drink anything before a work out, but I have tried it before and after and I like it.  It is the perfect size and I believe, a lot better than the sports drinks I have tried. 

One of the most important things I like about MBS is  it is caffeine and perservative free.  I am sensative towards caffeine, so when I say I felt good drinking this, I truly mean it.  I did not have to try and control a mood and hope that I can continue to drink this only on good days, when I think my body can tolerate drinking it.

My Body Shots also has an Electro Vitamin for Kids that I plan on purchasing for my son.  He wanted to try the Electro Vitamin I had, but I told him he had to wait until I purchase the vitamins for kids.

So far my daughter and I have had a pleasant experience with My Body Shots and plan on purchasing more in the future. 

The Adventures of Jimmy and Charlie Review

My son and I received an autographed, copy of The Adventures of Jimmy and Charlie to review from the author Rodney Mack. We were excited, because this would be my sons first book review.

I was looking forward to reading this book, because it is a Word based book in relation to the Bible. I have found children's books like this allow children to have a better understanding of God and answers many questions they may have.

My son just turned seven and loves the time we spend together, reading books. My son was excited, because it was a "chapter book". He thinks it is a chapter book, because he saw three short stories. This made him feel like a big boy. The Adventures of Jimmy and Charlie follows two cats as they explore their new world and make many friends. What I liked about this book is the stories are based on real events. As we read the stories, we found the stories allowed us to picture the cats and how sweet they were. My son would say, "They are so cute." As Jimmy and Charlie journeyed through their adventures we laughed and talked about life lessons, like listening to your parents and making friends.

As for the reading level, my son was able to read a lot of the book, but he is not at a point that he could read this alone. The Adventures of Jimmy and Charlie is a great story time book for me to read to him, but he would like to read on his own. Once he becomes more of an advanced reader, I am sure he will be pulling the book off of the shelf for his quiet time.

Nuvia Cafe and Ganoderma Coffee is the real deal

A friend of mine had given me a sample pack of Ganoderma Coffee made by another retailer.  It had creamer and sugar in it.  I kept thinking, "This cannot be as natural as they want me to think. I want to be able to decide if I want to add these condiments to my coffee."  When I heard about Nuvia Cafe and their form of Ganoderma coffee, I was willing to try it and wanted to show my friend a real natural coffee. Nuvia Cafe contains healing properties and  offers energy and rest and it does not have sugar and cream in it.

I am a woman that is very sensitive to caffeine, fried foods and sweets.  Suffering from PMS causes these things to affect my moods.  When I decided to sample and review Ganoderma Coffee, I questioned if I had made a wise decision.  When I received my box of coffee, I received a newsletter with lots of testimonies. After reading the testimonies I learned that Ganoderma acted as an appetite suppressant and a super antioxidant. This is what I need!  I am trying to take off 10 unwanted pounds.

When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised, because you just grab a packet and add it to hot water.  This is perfect for someone with a busy schedule.  I have to admit, I did add some sugar and cream, because it is a bit strong.  Although, there is a strong coffee flavor I was able to taste a hint of pomegranate and african mango, which is what makes this coffee taste so good. 

The first time I tried Nuvia Cafe I had so much energy.  I was talking and moving fast.  I think it is because I do not drink coffee at all, even if it is natural.  I felt so good.  I was in the best mood all day .  When it was time for bed I was so rested.  I realized then, I needed to drink it more often.  The next time I drank it, I was energized, but I was more level.  I felt very calm, but I still had energy. 

As for my friend, he is asking for packets of my Nuvia Cafe.  I will be sending him this review and link to Nuvia Cafe.  I have shared my sample pack with my mom(who is diabetic), my sons camp counselor(who is trying to loose weight) and my eighteen year old daughter(who suffers from asthma).  So far they all like the product and are planning on purchasing some for themselves and I am hoping they will share their reviews as well. 

I am glad I have tried Nuvia Cafe and am hoping others will benefit from it as well.

I am participating in the 90 Contest by Creative Bioscience

I am up for the challenge!   I will be participating in a 90 day challenge sponsored by Creative Bioscience.  My goal is to loose those unexpected 10 pounds that came from no where.  Well, honestly, my metabolism slowed down and I never thought it would happen to me.  It is time to do something about this before it gets out of hand.  I was forewarned, that after turning 40 this would happen.  I shrugged it off, "That will not happen to me."  Well, I was wrong, it is happening to me and I am not going to take it lying down.  I am going to participate in this challenge and be successful. 

After going through the Creative Bioscience site to see what would suit my needs,  I  selected the African Mango, I selected this product, because it acts as an appetite suppressant and is all natural.  Although, I do not eat a lot of food and I eat pretty healthy.  I need something to suppress my appetite in between my small meals.  After reading the information about what African Mango had to offer, I felt it was a perfect fit for the goals I am trying to meet.  I need that little boost and feel this is the product for me.  Don't get me wrong, it was hard decision, because there were other good products, that I wanted to try, but I narrowed it down to African Mango.

Hotel Translyvania is coming to theaters September 28th

My seven year old has been asking to see Hotel Transylvania everytime we see a billboard.  Well, now September 28th is so much closer than when the billboards first started advertising, so now the count down begins. 

 

Hotel Transylvania will be in theaters on September 28th and it has a great starring cast, Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez, and Cee Lo Green. If you are like my son and want to have something to look forward to until then, here is a Hotel Transylvania Trailer.

Behind the scenes with hosts of The Talk-No Make Up Premier

We don't need foundation to rule the nation!  This empowering chant roared through the audience.  The energy was electrifying.  Upon receiving my invitation to attend the premier show of The Talk, make up free, I was a little hesitant.  Although, I do not wear a lot of make up, just the thought of possibly being seen on national television without make up was a little scarey.  All of my anxiety disappeared after I arrived on set and saw everyone was make up free.  With music pumping and lots of happy women freely dancing and talking I forgot what I looked like.  When Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, Sara Gilbert and Sheryl Underwood entered the room, the energy increased by volumes.  Listening to them express their concerns prior to the show allowed me and many others to see we are not alone.  They are just like any other woman that wants to feel pretty.  When the naturally beautiful Jamie Lee Curtis came on stage, I could not believe how great she looked.  She was gorgeous, her face was flawless.  She said, she is at at a stage in life, where she wears less make up as she gets older.  Wow...I thought for a moment.  I have just started wearing make up since I have gotten older, maybe I am doing this backwards.  Today, I woke up and did not bother to wear any make up and plan to do so more often. 

 

 

I am glad to have had the opportunity to participate in a part of television history.  This is something I will not forget. 

After the show I was given the opportunity with the eight other bloggers sit with the hosts.  It was not like a typical q&a.  It was like girlfriends sitting down and conversing about girl things.    The host were so friendly, they were natural inside and out.
